The Renaissance painting-inspired "Mona Lisa Men" series examines identity and representation. A studio-taken portrait is digitally combined with a background. The combination may be based on something I know about the sitter, something they might have said, their occupation, nickname etc. The connection will not be obvious - although I invite speculation - and the skewed perspectives are intentional.
