David Rann is a Black Country-based professional photographer working in Art/Portraiture.

He graduated from University of Wolverhampton in 2007 with a BA (Hons) First Class in Photography and completed an MA Fine Art at Wolverhampton in 2009, specialising in photography and video. David teaches photography at Birmingham Botnical Gardens and Stratford-upon-Avon College.

This site is a forum mainly for his personal work which includes the successful "Mona Lisa Men" series of male portraits and more recent "Melanocortin-1 Receptor" project (see www.davidrannphoto.com for his day-to-day work).


David would like to express his gratitude to the SPEED (Student Placements for Entrepreneurs in EDucation) programme which provided invaluable assistance in the setting up of his photographic practice.
